A couple years after The Italian Job was released, Statham starred in another heist movie: The Bank Job (2008). Unrelated to The Italian Job, this film was based on the real-life robbery which took place in 1971 on Baker Street, London. Allegedly in 1971, the actual story of this heist was to be unheard of in order to protect a member of the British Royal Family.

Drugs and fights and Los Angeles? Sounds like a film Jason Statham would star in. Crank (2006) was exactly that - Jason's character was poisoned and sought to find and get revenge on the man who was responsible for this malicious act.

One of Statham's funnier roles took place in 2015's Spy, starring Jude Law and Melissa McCarthy. As always, Jason portrays the action hero, or at least in this film, the wannabe hero in contrast to McCarthy's character. Jason was nominated for a Critics' Choice Award for Best Actor in a Comedy for his role. If you need a good laugh, this film is highly recommended!
