James Cameron is finally able to fly to New Zealand, and resume filming the second Avatar. Many have anticipated the film's release, and are eager to see the world come alive once more.

Avatar comes to life once more

Director and producer James Cameron was given the all clear to fly to New Zealand, and resume filming the highly anticipated second Avatar film.

As of May 19, New Zealand only has one case of the novel Coronavirus and has allowed Cameron and his team to fly out and resume production.

Upon arrival, Cameron and his team must be on a 14-day government-monitored quarantine.

Touching down in Wellington, the crew are finally able to return to their production site after previously being evicted at the start of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Avatar is going to be the first foreign production to start filming post lock-down.

New Zealand's borders are still officially closed, however Avatar was given exemption due to "significant economic value".
