Unfortunately, on June 27, 2001, Matthew Ansara was found dead in Los Angeles due to an overdose. After her son's death, Barbara Eden was understandably devastated and in shock. With the passage of time, however, Eden managed to recover and return to the world of entertainment.

The beautiful and talented Barbara Eden recently turned 92 and is still a household name in Hollywood. Just in 2019, she appeared in the film My Adventures with Santa, where she played Mrs. Claus.
