Howie Mandel is currently being treated in hospital after he collapsed at a Starbucks in Los Angeles today.
TMZ broke the story that the 65-year-old comedian and TV host was out getting coffee with friends when the scary incident occurred. Witnesses told the outlet that Mandel "suddenly passed out" and was taken outside to rest on a bench.
News: Howie Mandel in hospital after collapsing
After the fall, Howie was "rushed" by ambulance to a hospital in the Tarzana neighbourhood of LA, where he's undergoing tests, per the initial report.
He also appeared to be responsive and was sitting up as paramedics loaded him into the ambulance.
Sources informed TMZ that they apparently suspect Howie was suffering from low blood sugar and that doctors are running tests on him now (Wednesday afternoon).
Mandel understandably hasn't addressed the worrying incident at this time. The America's Got Talent judge had been busy just this week, appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday.
We're hoping for the best for Howie and wish him a speedy recovery.
