The story takes us back to the early 1990s – in Europe. Thomas Gibson had just finished a film in Ireland, and he was travelling around afterward.
In 1991, Gibson was in Paris, where a friend set him up on a date with a woman named Christine. She would become his girlfriend and future wife.
"We went to dinner that night," Thomas once told the LA Times. "It was love." After two years of dating, they got married in the spring of 1993.

Who is Christine Gibson, the ex-wife of Thomas Gibson?
When they met in Paris, Christine Gibson was a graduate student. Thomas later described his wife as "a career academic." Thomas and Christine ended up having three children together: sons James and Travis, and daughter Agatha.
But all good things must come to an end. Thomas and Christine Gibson broke up quietly in 2011 and filed for divorce in 2014. It became final in 2018.
Thomas Gibson never remarried, and he has acted just once since 2017. Fans hope to see him back in action soon...
