Mama June Finally Admit's Depth Of Addiction

Mama June's family has bee trying very hard to help their addicted matriarch into health and sobriety but they have only faced push back and bad behavior including Mama June selling her children's belongings and public arrests for drug possession.

Mama June's 14-year old daughter Alana Thompson a.k.a. "Honey Boo Boo" has been living with her older sister Lauryn "Pumpkin" because she was too afraid to live with her mom and had already seen too much for a young girl.

Now in the latest episode of Mama June: Family In Crisis, June has reunited with Lauryn and is finally being candid about her struggles. June admitted to being addicted to prescription pain medication, Xanax, and methamphetamine.

40-year old June even told her adult daughter "The only reason I sold the house, we was dead f***ing broke. Because you know at that point we was doing quite a bit. I mean, it was a couple ounces a day. Our habit was $2,500 a day, if not more."

Pumpkin has decided it would be in the best interest of her younger sister Alana to not bring her to the reunion, and she felt validated in her choice upon seeing how disheveled and sad her once beautiful and put together mother looked, in dirty clothes and missing teeth. "You have to understand too, like I can't have Ella and Alana around that."

June assured her daughter that she had been "mostly" clean, saying "...I promise you, for the last couple months we have been I would say, 90 percent good. If this was four or five months ago, I would have been high as f*** when I came up in here."

June is clearly finally asking for help as she wails in the episode when her urine test comes back positive for cocaine. She promises she has not used amphetamines as of late and asks the crew and doctor "I will take a blood test, I will take five of those. I want to take a blood test to prove that I am not."

We will have to wait for the next episode to see what the results are and if June gets the help she needs to earn her family back.
