Madonna has been the subject of much concern in recent days, with the pop star hospitalized in intensive care following a bacterial infection.
There were even discussions about the singer possibly needing to be resuscitated. However, now there is finally a reassuring sign of her safety.
Madonna gives health update on Instagram
Madonna shared a photo of herself, on her Instagram account, looking tired and without much makeup looking directly into the camera.
With her selfie, she shared a lengthy text expressing gratitude towards her fans and revealing how she has been doing since her hospitalization.
"Thank you for your positive energy, prayers, and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I am on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life." the statement reads.
She also explained what she felt in the hospital: "My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was about my children. My second thought was that I didn't want to disappoint anyone who had bought tickets for my tour. I also didn't want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.“

Madonna emphasized her desire to focus on her recovery and on becoming stronger. Despite everything, she stated that she intends to proceed with her tour as planned. The tour is scheduled to begin in Europe in October, with the North American portion being postponed.
"I couldn't be more grateful for your care and support," she concluded.
Hopefully, now she can take the rest she needs to regain her energy and return to the stage.
