Actress Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend Brian Hickerson was arrested on Valentine’s Day on charges of domestic battery for allegedly punching her in the face.

Police detained Hickerson at around 2:30 a.m. that night after the couple had a disagreement. According to the cops on the scene, Panettiere’s boyfriend hit her "with a closed fist on the right side of her face." Now, the actress has broken her silence on the event.

Panettiere told police Hickerson was in her bedroom when he began throwing her around and then punched her.

That was not the first time Panettiere was around for Hickerson becoming violent, as Hickerson has had two domestic charges with other family members in the past two years.
