Gwen Stefani is looking forward to the family fun that the holiday season brings! During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stefani chatted about where she'll be spending Thanksgiving, and mentioned the Christmas tradition she had to postpone last year.
Stefani talks family Thanksgiving food choices
Stefani told Entertainment Tonight's Cassie DiLaura that she and her family will spend Thanksgiving in Oklahoma, which she said is "a tradition" for them. As the No Doubt singer mentioned, their visit is especially meaningful this time! She explained that she's "very excited" to have her "first married Thanksgiving" with Shelton, who she tied the knot with back in July.
When it comes to what the Thanksgiving dinner will look like, Stefani said that her mom "likes to do her turkey her way," while Shelton prefers to "experiment with multiple smaller turkeys." She also mentioned they're putting a few different foods on the menu this year— bacon-wrapped turkey and mac and cheese! "Every year I feel like we add something new in," Stefani shared.
Stefani is also gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year at the happiest place on Earth, filming a performance for The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration at Disneyland. She revealed she brings her three kids — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo — to the theme park for Christmas every year, joking about how they "would be freaked out" that their mom was currently there without them!
