This week, Gordon had something to say in response to 67-year old radio host Steve Allen, after comments he made about Gordon's daughter Matilda participating in the game show Strictly Come Dancing, which is the British version of Dancing With the Stars, where celebrities are paired up with professional dancers, in the hopes of winning the competition at the end of the season.
While presenting his radio show on LBC, Allen said of Matilda, "Well, she can't blimming well dance, I'm bored with her already...she's a chubby little thing, isn't she? Have you noticed? Probably her dad's [Gordon] cooking, I should imagine." This obviously did not sit well with Britain's most opinionated chef!

Using Instagram Live, Gordon said: "She is 19-years of age for goodness sake – busting her arse off and attending university by Zoom and learning the most extraordinary moves with Nikita [Kuzmin]." "I think it was a breath of fresh air that level of standing up and saying, 'We're not going to tolerate that'."
This came after Matilda herself responded to Allen using her Instagram which has 1.1 millions followers. "I try not to read and listen to comments and negativity however recently being called out on a national radio station by a 67-year-old man is a step too far,"
Many calls for Allen to be let go in light of his comments have reached the surface, but so far, no action has been taken against him by producers of his radio show. But let's wait and see if this story has any more legs!
