Garth Brooks was a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday and of course the legendary country music star had his guitar in hand. The most recent Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Award winner, dazzled the audience and Kelly of course, with snippets of covers of classics songs.

Garth Brooks said he learned to play everything from Otis Redding to James Taylor's "Fire and Rain." This was because his family had a very diverse music taste growing up. He even joked that he cribbed Taylor's guitar riffs and used them in his own songs.

Kelly Clarkson get emotional 

Things did get emotional when Brooks started singing a cover of Bob Dylan's "To Make You Feel My Love" after Kelly mentioned that she grew up knowing Brooks' version and thinking it was his song all along until she was in her 20's. 

Garth Brooks and Kelly Clarkson have a pretty cool bond and the interview and cover was great to see. The Kelly Clarkson Show airs weekdays.
