Actor Garrett Hedlund was in some serious hot water before he and his girlfriend actress Emma Roberts announced their pregnancy news. He was arrested for a serious DUI!
Garrett Hedlund Arrested For DUI
Handsome and talented actor Garrett Hedlund was arrested back in January, as PageSix has just reported. The Tron actor reportedly had four times the blood alcohol legal limit in his system! The 36-year-old was then taken into custody the following month and charged with two DUI offenses and Hedlund was able to post a $100,000 bond.
The actor's rep told ET Canada: "When the incident occurred, Garrett immediately sought treatment which was successful. Today, he is in a solid and great place." Apparently, he was sentenced to 36-month probation and three community service days. Garrett was also required to complete a nine-month-long first-offender alcohol and drug education counseling program.
Garrett pleaded no contest to the charges and immediately entered and completed a 30-day residential treatment program. This news is finally hitting the headlines as the Triple Frontier actor is expecting a baby boy soon with American Horror Story actress Emma Roberts.

Emma had been previously in an on-and-off-again relationship with her AHS co-star Evan Peters for 7 years. The two had an argument that ended with Emma being arrested for physical violence against Evan. The two broke up in 2019 and shortly thereafter Emma was spotted with Garrett.
Garrett had dated and been briefly engaged to actress Kirsten Dunst. Garrett has famously been known as a "good guy" in Hollywood, even once being seen pulling over to the side of the road to help an injured motorcyclist. Hopefully, his arrest and pregnancy news were enough of a wake-up call for the handsome actor.
