Gabrielle Union would like to introduce someone very special to the world! Today, she posted a series of tweets about one of her kids, Zaya, who Union's husband Dwyane Wade revealed recently came out as transgender. Union shared a minute and a half long video of Zaya and Wade riding on a golf cart while talking about the importance of living an authentic life.

"I would say, just be true to yourself — what’s the point of being on this earth if you’re going to try and be someone you’re not?" Zaya is seen asking in the video. "Be true and don’t really care what the stereotypical way of being you is".

Union encourages acceptance of children "exactly as they are"

Union captioned the video she shared of her husband and Zaya with a sweet message promoting acceptance! "Meet Zaya," she wrote. "She's compassionate, loving, whip smart and we are so proud of her. It’s Ok to listen to, love & respect your children exactly as they are. Love and light good people".

In addition to the video, Union also made a tweet thanking everyone who's shown love and support to her and Wade since sharing Zaya's gender identity with the world! "Huge huge huge THANK YOU to everyone whose dms I slid into, friends, & family who provided information, resources, love & encouragement," she wrote. "We are humble LGBTQ+ allies with ALOT to learn & grateful for all the support".
