Francia Raisa sets the record straight on Selena Gomez

Francia Raisa's (35) kidney donation to Selena Gomez (31) was one of the biggest headlines of 2017. After that, however, Selena and Francia seemed to have drifted apart. The media even reported conflicts between the two in the following years.

But in early 2023, the two made it clear that there had been no dramatic incident. Now Francia Raisa clarifies once again in an interview with 'Extra' that the kidney transplant did not divide the two of them.

"It had nothing to do with the kidney. I went through a lot in my childhood. [...] She was such a great support in all this," she explains. All they had to do was "embark on their own journey" to "grow", Francia said.
