Sad news from the Foo Fighters: drummer Taylor Hawkins passed away at the age of 50, the band announced on Instagram. The drummer died in Colombia on Friday night, local authorities said on Twitter. Foo Fighters were there to play a festival.
Taylor Hawkins: Foo Fighters are "devastated"
The search for Taylor Hawkins's cause of death is still ongoing, but authorities have already said several substances have been found in his blood. "The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of Taylor Hawkins," writes the band.
Other musicians are also mourning after the recently deceased star. Beatles drummer Ringo Starr writes on Twitter: "God bless Taylor peace and love to all his family and the band peace and love."
Queen star Brian May explains on Instagram: "No. It cannot be. Heartbroken. Taylor, you were family to us. Our friend, our brother, our beloved child. Bless you. We will miss you so bad."

Taylor Hawkins was just 50 years old and leaves behind his wife and three children.
