'Fixer Upper' star Chip Gaines (49) gave his wife Joanna (45) a huge bouquet of flowers for Valentine's Day. Chip also found a great use for the flowers afterward.

In a recent video shared on Instagram, Gaines demonstrates how he collects the wilted roses and uses them as food for the goats. "Nothing is wasted here" he comments as he throws the flowers on the ground and invites his goats to feast.

Chip Gaines: How did the 'Fixer Upper' star get injured?

In addition to this lasting gesture, the video also shows Chip's wounded face, which he comments on with typical humor: "Sorry about my face, it looks a little worse than it is." There are a few abrasions on his cheek and lower lip.

Although he does not explain how he sustained the injuries, fans know that Chip often comes to harm while working on construction sites. Perhaps this is where he sustained the injuries.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2003 and are raising five children, have been living together since the end of their HGTV show 'Fixer Upper'. They didn't slow down after that in 2017 either.

The two have launched a podcast network, announced several Magnolia reality shows, completed Hotel 1928 in Waco, Texas, and aired 'Fixer Upper: The Hotel' - a new limited series about the company - on Max and the Magnolia Network.
