Christina Perri didn't always have it easy with her desire to have children. Now her first-born daughter Carmella, who is 4 years old, is getting a sibling, as the singer revealed with an Instagram video.
Perri shares excitement over pregnancy
Perri and her husband Paul Costabile were expecting their second child in 2020, but the "Jar of Hearts" hitmaker miscarried in January. The next shock came in November of the same year— after another pregnancy, her daughter Rosie was born dead.
Now though, Perri can breathe again and enjoy her new baby happiness. She has also revealed that once again, she's expecting a girl! "rosie sent carmella a little sister and we’re very excited," she wrote, along with a sweet video of her little family. In it, her daughter opens a gift-wrapped box with a pink balloon, discovering a sonogram inside!

Perri and her husband also appear in the video, visibly excited about their news. She also mentioned that while she and her family are "having all the feelings" about expecting again, they're "mostly trying everyday to choose joy." Hopefully the third time will be the charm here, and Perri will once again welcome a new little one into the world!
