Recently, beloved actor Treat Williams (†71) sadly died. He died in a motorcycle accident on June 12th. Now, details of the cause of death have been released by the police.
Treat Williams: Severe injuries in fatal crash
Treat Williams died from severe trauma and tremendous blood loss from his accident. "Mr. Williams suffered serious injuries in the accident and was subsequently pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center," reads a statement from the Vermont State Police. According to the police report, the Hollywood star had no way to avoid the collision and was thrown from his motorcycle.
The driver of the car that crashed into Williams' motorcycle was charged with a "grossly negligent act with fatality". Gross negligence is when the accused does not recognize the risk resulting from a certain behaviour.
Treat Williams' widow told Daily Mail in an interview that she tries to enjoy every day to the fullest in her husband's honour because that's what he would have wanted. "We try to cope as best we can," she says.
