Eva Mendes may make a return to the big screen, but only if she can play a role that's suitable for her daughters! It's been 6 years since the actress-turned-businesswoman appeared in her last film to date, 2014's Lost River, directed and written by her partner, Ryan Gosling. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight though, Mendes talked about how motherhood has changed her approach to choosing projects.
"Acting is something that I will always love," Mendes shared. "It’s just like now that I have children, I’m kind of extreme". She goes on to explain that she would only consider making a return to the profession she adores if the project in question would be suitable for her daughters. "There’s just so many things I won’t do. Like I won’t do most of the movies I’ve done in the past," Mendes reveals.
Mendes on her ideal future role choice: "Disney, I'm all yours"
Mendes dished that she wouldn't be open to accepting a role in a film that was overly violent or sexual in nature, unlike some of the roles she's played in the past. "I don't want to do anything too violent," she said. "Of course, I don't want to do anything too sexual or sexual at all".

With these conditions in place though, Mendes told Entertainment Tonight that she does have an ideal role in mind! "So I'm basically like, 'Disney, I'm all yours, Disney,'" Mendes said. "That's all that's left." And if Disney did come knocking, Mendes even knows what kind of character she'd want to play... which might come as a surprise! "I'm more of the villain kinda type of girl," she reveals. "I'm more of the Ursula type... I like the villains of the Disney movies. They're fun".
