- Bob Saget died unexpectedly this year
- Saget would have been 66 years old
- His Full House co-stars make touching posts
Bob Saget's death has left a huge void within fans' hearts, but especially in the hearts of his friends and family. At the beginning of January, the Full House star died after what was presumably a head injury. The actor would have celebrated his 66th birthday on May 17. On this day, his loved ones remembered him in a touching way.
Saget's wife and former co-stars pay tribute to him
The day must have been very difficult, especially for Saget's wife Kelly Rizzo. She reverently posted a series of photos from his 65th birthday on Instagram. "Happy birthday my Love," she wrote. "These pictures and videos were taken exactly 1 year ago in Mexico. [...] This last trip was so special. [...] You never know when something will be "the last" time."
"But I’m so grateful that he was showered with all of the love he deserves. I pray he can see all the love he's already getting from around the world today," she continued. "Honey, everyone loves you so damn much. Everyone wants you to know how important and special you are on your special day, and we ALL celebrate you.“
"You are one of a kind and you certainly made my world go ‘round. I love you more than anything and miss you every minute," Rizzo concluded her post. "Your girls and I will hold on tight to each other today. And I know you’d want me to get a martini tonight, so I’ll oblige. Happy birthday, honey.“
Saget's Full House family was an important part of his life. That's why the series' stars didn't hold back from celebrating their co-star! "'Death ends a life, not friendship.' - Jack Lemon. Happy Birthday Bobby. I miss you madly," John Stamos wrote on Instagram with an older photo of himself and Saget.
Candace Cameron Bure, who played Saget's daughter, shared emotional lines for her on-screen father. "I miss you. Do I still say happy birthday? I don't know how this works, but I'm celebrating you today no matter how badly my heart hurts," she said.

Andrea Barber is also part of the popular cast and wrote a touching message on Instagram. "Today I spent some time with you at your final resting place," she said. "You'll be happy to know that (literally) everyone is celebrating you today!“
"The security guard at the entrance said, 'Oh, you're here because it's Bob's birthday.' [...] It was overcast all morning, but as I arrived - I s**t you not - the sun suddenly came out and John Mayer’s Free Fallin’ came on the radio," the Full House star continued. I hear you, Bob. I know you’re there. I love and miss you so much."
