Emma Watson wants her fans to know that not everything they read about her is true! On Monday, the Little Women actress returned to Twitter for the first time in months with a series of tweets in which she spoke out about the various rumours that have been circulating about her life and career.
Watson tells fans that any news will come from her
Watson has recently been the subject of gossip when it comes to both her relationship status and her career. Back in February, news seemed to surface suggesting that Watson was planning to retire from acting, despite being only 30 years old at the time. Some have also speculated that she could be engaged to her boyfriend, film producer Leo Robinton.
However, Watson's recent tweets appear to suggest that there isn't truth to either of these rumours. "Dear Fans, Rumours about whether I'm engaged or not, or whether my career is 'dormant or not' are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue," she stated in her first tweet since last August.
"If I have news - I promise I'll share it with you," she reassured, saying she's been "quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are." Watson then concluded with a sweet message of good health to her fans."I am sending so much love to you, hoping you’re ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times," she said, also thanking those on the front lines "working so hard to keep us safe and well."
