Eminem surprised the Dolby Theatre audience and viewers at home alike when he sang "Lose Yourself" at the 92nd Oscars. Following a montage of memorable songs in films, Eminem emerged from beneath the stage to perform his Oscar-winning song. His performance was not announced prior to the ceremony.
"Lose Yourself" previously won the Academy Award for Best Original Song when it appeared in Eminem’s film, 8-Mile, in 2002. Eminem was famously absent from the ceremony when his song won the award.
