TMZ reports that Presley, 54, went into cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California, on Jan. 12. According to sources, epinephrine and CPR were administered by paramedics to restart her heart.
Lisa Marie Presley Has Died
She was transported to the hospital after regaining a pulse. It has now been confirmed by People that Lisa Marie died. She was 54 years old.
In the statement, her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed the tragic loss: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," said Priscilla.
"She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment," she concluded.
