What a shock! Actress Eileen Ryan (†94) is dead! The actress and mother of Sean Penn passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 94. A spokesman for the family confirmed this to the American magazine Deadline.

Eileen Ryan's son Michael Penn (64) posted a photo of his mother on Twitter with the caption: "We lost mom yesterday." She died at her home in Malibu.

The actress appeared in various films in the 1950s and married director Leo Penn (†77) after only a few months of the relationship.
