Henry Thomas, known as "Elliott" in the 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in Oregon this Monday. The Tualatin Police Department revealed they found the actor passed out behind the wheel, after they received a call at around 8.30pm reporting a car that wasn't moving in the middle of a residential intersection.
Police officers had to wake Henry Thomas up to take him to the Washington County Jail. After being booked for a misdemeanor for driving under the influence, he was released on Tuesday morning on his own recognizance. His first court date is scheduled for November 1st.
