Tough break for Miami Vice legend Don Johnson
For Don Johnson, 72, his role on Kenan was his first starring television role since 2006. Kenan, which features comedian Kenan Thompson in the title role, debuted on NBC in 2021 and finished its second season earlier this year.
Also interesting:
On Kenan, Don Johnson played "Rick Noble," the former father-in-law of "Kenan." But now for the sad news: NBC has officially cancelled Kenan after just two seasons.
So that's all for Don Johnson's latest TV comeback. Before Kenan, he last had a main cast role in Just Legal from 2005 to 2006. The courtroom drama was similarly short-lived: it lasted just one season.
But there is more to come for Don Johnson fans. He recently returned for the Nash Bridges TV movie in 2021, and he is in line for several movie roles in the next few years.
