Doja Cat has seen her career take off incredibly fast over the past few years. After her quick rise to fame, the 26-year-old rapper has shared that she wants to take it slower in the future.
Doja Cat wants to withdraw from the public
Doja Cat spoke to Elle magazine about her plans to take a break from the music industry. “I want to finish this tour up, kill it, and see my fans happy," the rapper said. "And then I want to start writing again. I’m going to finish this next album, and then I’m going to get the f**k out for a second."
The musician, who released her debut album Amala in 2018, shared her amazingly down-to-earth desires, explaining that she dreams of a simpler life. "I want to disappear for a little bit and just do things like wear slides and go to the farmers market. I don’t give a s**t about vegetables, but how fun!" she revealed. The "Kiss Me More" singer also wants to get a dog.

"It’s f****d up that I don’t have a dog. It’s not fair," she said. "I want to take care of a dog. I want to raise it and run around in the grass and touch it." Earlier this month, Doja Cat debuted a new song in honour of rock and roll icon Elvis Presley. But as Elle mentions, she was forced to cancel all her shows this summer after tonsil surgery. Hopefully she makes a full recovery, and can soon live the life she wants!
