Peter Davison was born April 13th, 1951 in Streatham, London and studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama. With a passion for acting, he scored his first job as an assistant stage manager at the Nottingham Playhouse.

He had many starring television roles in popular series like All Creatures Great and Small and Mixed Blessings. He seemed to have a fondness for science fiction, acting in Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy and The Tomorrow People, and then hit the sci-fi fans' ultimate dream role, "the Doctor" on BBC's Doctor Who! He was the 5th Doctor from 1980 to 1984 and has returned as "the Doctor" in many seasons following.
