His name is José "Pepe" Bastón and he is originally from Mexico City. Since 2001, the 51-year-old entrepreneur has been pursuing his professional career as the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America. "Pepe" doesn't consider himself a celebrity and that's why he is not active on social media, good news is that the gorgeous Eva often gives Instagram updates so her fans can see what the couple is up to!
How did the Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria meet José Bastón?
It all started back in 2013 when Eva and José were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend, just when the actress was getting out of a bad relationship. The first date didn't go very well but they were re-introduced a couple of months later and that's when the magic happened: "We had immediate spark. It was like the cliché angels singing and there was a glow around him and it was immediate chemistry," the 44-year-old actress said to People magazine back in the days.
After dating for about two years, Bastón proposed to Longoria while they were on vacation in Dubai, the couple finally exchanged vows in 2016 in a sunset ceremony in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, a lakeside town roughly 88 miles away from the Mexican capital In 2017 the gorgeous actress revealed that she was pregnant and the internet went just crazy! Baby Santiago Enrique was born in 2018; he has two half-sisters and one half-brother, who are José's children from his previous relationship with Mexican actress Natalia Esperón.

According to Eva, when she met José she thought that it was the first time that she was actually dating someone who had settled down, which was perfect because she was pretty much on the same page, and "it is so nice to be arm-in-arm with someone who is your equal."
Now after 6 years of being with him, the Desperate Housewives star has said that the relationship with her husband hasn't changed at all: "People ask us how it is being married now, but we were always married in our hearts and our souls, so the wedding was just a beautiful party to celebrate with everyone. We're always like newlyweds. Some days we feel like we've been married for 40 years and other days we feel like we've been married for two seconds."
