"Everyone told me not to go out with him, but I didn’t want to judge him based on the tabloids," Denise Richards explains to 'People'. "I judged him as the man I met. I said ‘Well, unless he murdered someone, I can’t judge him for the past.’", continued the actress.
A year later, they married and had two children. But the marriage ended after three years in a turbulent divorce, which was accompanied by headlines about Sheen's drug relapse and custody battles. "It was a rollercoaster," she confesses, "more than people even know."
