Cat Janice

Great sadness for Cat Janice: the singer died at the age of just 31 as a result of cancer. The family made this public on her Instagram profile at the end of February 2024. The statement read: "This morning, from her childhood home and surrounded by her loving family, Catherine peacefully entered the light and love of her heavenly creator.

We are eternally thankful for the outpouring of love that Catherine and our family have received over the past few months. Cat saw her music go places she never expected and rests in the peace of knowing that she will continue to provide for her son through her music. This would not have been possible without all of you." She was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare malignant tumor, in 2021. She was treated, received chemotherapy and was initially considered cancer-free - but it came back. Now Cat Janice has died from the disease.

Charles Dierkop

On February 25, US actor Charles Dierkop passed away at the age of 87. His daughter Lynn confirmed this to the US magazine 'The Hollywood Reporter' days later. He died as a result of a heart attack and pneumonia. Charles Dierkop became known worldwide for his roles in 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' and 'The Sting'.

Comedy legend Richard Lewis is dead, his spokesperson confirmed to 'Deadline' at the end of February. According to the report, Lewis died at the age of 76 after suffering a heart attack. The 'Star Trek: Discovery' actor suffered from the incurable and degenerative nerve disease ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
