Stanley Martin Andrzejewski was born on August 28, 1891 in Chicago, Illinois. He is best known for his role as "The Old Ranger", the first host of the Western TV series 'Death Valley Days'.

'Death Valley Days' ran from 1952 to 1970. All of the 452 episodes were introduced by a host, with Andrews doing so from 1952 to 1964.

Following Andrews' exit, Ronald Reagan -who would later become President of the United States, appeared in 21 episodes and was succeeded by actor Robert Taylor.

Stanley Andrews sadly died on June 23, 1969 in Los Angeles, California. The star was 77 years old.

At the time, authorities and outlets reported that he had died of "undisclosed causes". As of 2024, his exact cause of death is still a mystery. 

However, it is known that two days after his passing, a rosary for him got held at Glenhaven Mortuaries Chapel.

Also known as "The Old Ranger" in 'Death Valley Days', the late Stanley Andrews was a very talented actor, whose career started in the early '30s.

With at least 250 film appearances in his impressive resumé, the actor sadly died in 1969 at age 77.
