Danny Masterson gets 30 years behind bars for rape
Known for his role on the iconic 'That 70's Show', Danny Masterson will now be known for something much more sinister. The actor was convicted of rape earlier this year, and has now been given his punishment.
Masterson was given 30 years in prison for his crimes. He was accused of raping three women at his home in Hollywood Hills from 2001 to 2003. He was found guilty of two of the three charges.
The three women were present at the sentencing hearing, and shared how the crimes have impacted them, even decades later.
Jane Doe 1 referred to Danny Masterson as "a true coward and heartless monster". Jane Doe 2 spoke directly to Masterson, who was silent for the entire hearing.
"I still have to contend with what you did to me that night… That takes a life’s worth of therapy to repair," she says."Your emptiness and your cowardice will be your true legacy. You are pathetic, disturbed and extremely violent. The world is safer with you behind bars".

Judge Charlaine Olmedo also had harsh words for the actor. "Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here. Your actions 20 years ago took away another person’s voice and choice. Your actions 20 years ago were criminal, and that is why you are here," he says.
