- 'Dancing With The Stars' is heating up
- There were many shocks on Tuesday
- THESE are the highlights of last week
'Dancing With The Stars' never disappoints. Fans have had a great season to enjoy so far this time around. The panel of judges, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and special guest Paula Abdul, had their work cut out for them. They scored a series of scene-stealing routines that left viewers and judges alike in awe!
The Shocking Eliminations
After two hours of electrifying performances, it was up to America to decide who deserved to dance another day. Three couples were left hanging in the balance: Lele Pons and Brandon Armstrong, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, and Barry Williams and Peta Murgatroyd.
Despite scoring a solid 33 out of 40 for their salsa set to Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever," Pons and Armstrong were sent packing. "I am so grateful for everything... everybody here is the best," Pons shared after the elimination, while Armstrong expressed his disappointment at the premature exit.
Reality star Ariana Madix and her pro-partner Pasha Pashkov stole the show early on with a sultry cha-cha set to Britney Spears' "I'm a Slave 4 U." Abdul was so impressed, she awarded them a perfect 10, leading to an impressive total of 37 out of 40.
The excitement didn't stop there! The cast split into teams for a freestyle Team Dance Round. Team 4 Everyone, including Madix, Jason Mraz, Alyson Hannigan, and Barry Williams, performed to the Backstreet Boys' hit song "Everybody".
Also interesting:
They earned a 37 out of 40. However, Team Young'n Style, featuring Harry Jowsey, Xochitl Gomez, Lele Pons, and Charity Lawson, edged them out with a perfect 40 out of 40 for their performance to Psy's "Gangnam Style."
DWTS continues to keep fans guessing and hearts racing. Tune in Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+ to see who dances their way to the top next!
