It was Daisy Ridley's birthday on April 10, but she decided to gift the world with a sweet gesture of her own: a video read-along of Star Wars: BB-8 on the Run.
The children's picture-book is about "BB-8," the popular character from the new trilogy of Star Wars movies. Ridley's video appeared on the franchise's official Twitter account.

The video runs for just under 10 minutes, after which a message from Ridley appears:
"Thank you to everyone staying at home and thank you to everyone out on the front lines helping those in need. Please accept my tiny offering of gratitude in the form of storytelling."
Ridley was one of the leads in the new Star Wars trilogy, in which she played "Rey" - who makes an appearance in the "BB-8" book!

The English actress turned 28-years-old on April 10, the same day that her read-along was posted online.
