In Cristiano Ronaldo's new post, he kept it simple with football emojis and the MUFC hashtag as his caption. He lines up a strike in the two action shots.
And it looks like fans are ready to move on with Ronaldo. The vast majority of comments cheer him on and applaud his return to the field.
One top commenter, however, made light of the recent incident, writing: "I still need my new phone." Another added the hashtag "#arrestpenaldo." Other fans wrote: "Focused" and "You are the greatest of all time!"
Cristiano Ronaldo, who is married to Georgina Rodriguez, made headlines for the wrong reasons this past weekend. He was accused of smacking the hand of a 14-year-old fan as he left the field following a MUFC defeat on April 9.

The boy's mother says the incident — which was caught on video — left him with a bruised hand and broken phone. Ronaldo apologized for his "outburst" the next day on Instagram and offered the fan free tickets to a game.
"It's never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing," he wrote. "Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game."
Ronaldo concluded: "I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship."
Manchester United isn't punishing their star, but police opened an investigation of the incident that the boy's mother is calling an "assault."
