Thomas Gibson (58) starred in Criminal minds from 2005 to 2016. He also directed six episodes of Criminal Minds from 2013-2016. Gibson's contract was terminated by the show in 2016 after an altercation with a producer/writer of the show due to creative differences. However, this was not the first time. He had a prior altercation with an assistant director and underwent anger-management counseling and unfortunately that did not seem to help.
Thomas Gibson played "Aaron Hotchner" for many years
Many fans were disappointed that Gibson would no longer be appearing in the series and he is still missed by many today. Since his termination from Criminal Minds, things have been rather slow for Thomas Gibson. He has landed a few minor roles here and there, but nothing significantly impressive.
Thomas Gibson starred in Shadow Wolves
In 2017, he voiced the role "Joseph" in the film Axis and was back on TV in 2019, playing the main role of "Colonel Branson" in the television series Shadow Wolves. Coming up, he starred as "The Writer" in the film The Writer's Bible which is currently in post-production.
Even though he has not been as successful as hoped in recent months, we never know what could be in store for Thomas Gibson in the coming years. Here's hoping it's something good!
