This month, it was revealed that Courteney Cox and her boyfriend, Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid, have reunited! The couple recorded a sweet video message thanking essential workers in Ireland, where McDaid is from. See their special shoutout here!

Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid are together in person again after months of being apart! As People shares, the couple recently came together to film a video message that saw them thanking those on the front lines in McDaid's home country!

Cox and McDaid thank Irish essential workers

Cox reunited with McDaid to give a special shoutout to essential workers in Derry, Ireland. "We just want to thank all the people at Ráth Mór in Creggan for all the incredible work you have done this year," Cox is seen saying in the video, which was recorded at an unknown location.

"Well done guys, thank you so much for all the work — it's so appreciated," McDaid then adds. "And I know it's been a really tough year, but here's to a great 2021 ahead." As People mentions, the couple's message was for a Christmas celebration in the community of Ráth Mór. And since McDaid is from Ireland, their message of gratitude is especially meaningful!

Cox previously opened up about separation from McDaid

Cox and McDaid had been physically separated for some time due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the Friends star opening up back in July about not getting to see her musician boyfriend for months. While it wasn't mentioned when the couple was able to reunite in person again, Cox's past comments suggest that it must have been recent!

Back in October, the actress talked about how long the two had been apart on the podcast "Let's say it's been 150 days — I've cooked 145 of them. And I haven't seen John in that many days," she revealed to the show's host, musician Foy Vance. "He left the next day [after] the whole country shut down — or at least [when] California did. I think maybe New York was before us."
