- Actor Pete Davidson recently canceled upcoming stand up shows
- He has also demonstrated erratic behavior while filming
- THIS was his latest stunt on the set of his new movie
Pete Davidson has been one of the most popular young comedians around in recent years. Davidson, known for his sharp wit and headline-grabbing romances, recently unleashed a whirlwind of fury on the set of his new movie, 'Riff Raff,' and we've got the exclusive scoop!
Something is up with Pete
According to insiders, a pesky paparazzi was playing cat and mouse on the New Jersey set, eager to snap pics of Davidson alongside legends Bill Murray and Ed Harris. This is fairly normal, specially when word gets out that a particular production might be filming in town.
But Pete wasn't having any of it!
Apparently he tried to be nice. After repeated pleas for privacy, the comedian's cool crumbled, leading to a face-off that had crew members leaping into action to hold him back.
According to 'In Touch Weekly' when a paparazzi was trying to snap a photo of Pete and his co-stars, the 30-year-old allegedly "tried to confront the photographer."
The outlet claimed Pete was "so furious" and multiple members of the production crew were reportedly "forced to restrain him." Following the alleged incident, 'In Touch Weekly's' source reported Pete "retreated to his trailer in a huff and proceeded to trash it."
The thing is, retreating to his trailer, Davidson didn't just slam the door – he trashed the place top to bottom. No details of that incident have been released at this time. The source spilled the tea, saying, "He's a good guy and everyone likes him," but hinting that Davidson's pot-smoking habits might be a sign of deeper issues.
Davidson's meltdown comes hot on the heels of a string of canceled comedy shows. From New York City's Beacon Theatre to the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, fans were left in the lurch as Pete pulled the plug on performances, citing "unforeseen circumstances."
The cancellations swept through Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Kentucky, leaving ticket holders wondering what's next for the 'King of Staten Island' star.
But that's not all! Last month, Davidson made waves when he called out a rule-breaking audience member at City Winery in NYC. "F—k you," he exploded, proving that he's not one to mess with when it comes to his craft.
The culprit? Caught red-handed filming the show, despite Pete's hefty investment to keep his jokes off the grid. That being said, for many younger stars, being famous in the age of social media and camera everywhere, the pressure can be more than too much.
It looks like Pete might be going through some tough phases in his personal life that are coming out into the public sphere.
Also interesting:
Davidson was also diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2017 when he was 23 years old. "I got diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was always just so confused all the time, and just thought something was wrong, and didn’t know how to deal with it," he said in a conversation with 'Variety’s' 'Actors On Acting.'
He added: "Then, when somebody finally tells you, the weight of the world feels lifted off your shoulders. You feel so much better."
So, what's next for Pete Davidson? Will he bounce back and bring the funny, or is this the beginning of a more serious unraveling? Stay tuned, gossip gurus!
