Britney Spears' (40) Instagram account has been deactivated since Wednesday. Instagram has confirmed to TMZ that they have not removed the singer's account. So it must have been Britney's choice to delete her account, which is normally otherwise active.

Does Britney Spears need a break from social media? This isn't the first time the 40-year-old has deactivated her account in recent months: she also did so briefly in September 2021 while on a short vacation with fiancé Sam Asghari.
Before she deleted her account this time however, Britney posted pictures from Las Vegas. Alongside the pictures, she wrote the cryptic caption: "I dont want to be loved … I want to be feared !!! Being loved and being nice got me taken advantage of …… so take ur pity and go f*** yourselves."
