The 64-year-old-comedian Sinbad is now recovering after his stroke. His family has reached out to the public asking for prayers and reassuring fans with hope.
Sinbad Recovering From Stroke
Sinbad's (born David Adkins) family has released a statement via The Hollywood Reporter about the comedian's condition. "It is out of sincere love that we share Sinbad, our beloved husband and father, is recovering from a recent stroke."
"Sinbad is a light source of love and joy for many generations. While he is beginning his road to recovery, we are faithful and optimistic that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon. Our family thanks you in advance for your love and support and ask for continued prayers for his healing. We also ask that you please respect our privacy during this time."
Sinbad has been a top stand-up comedian and actor since the '80s. He famously starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the holiday comedy film Jingle All the Way where both his character and Arnold's character were in a race to find the last special action figure for their sons on Christmas.
Sinbad has 2 children with his wife Meredith Fuller whom he married in 1985, divorced in 1992, and then remarried in 2002.
