Born May 31, 1976 in Dublin Ireland, actor Colin Farrell became interested in acting after seeing Henry Thomas in 1982 Steven Spielberg sci-fi film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. 'Tigerland'

After early roles in 1998's BBC series Ballykissangel and 1999 film The War Zone, Colin Farrell would catch the attention of Hollywood after landing the lead in 2000's war drama Tigerland.
