On Feb. 27, the SAG Awards will be presented in LA. Christina Applegate is nominated in the category of Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in the series Dead to Me.
It's happy news for the actress! But Applegate is looking ahead to the SAG Awards with mixed feelings.
Christina Applegate on her "last" award show amid MS battle
Christina Applegate, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, revealed that the upcoming SAG Awards will likely be her last.
The effects of the MS disease have taken a toll on the actress. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, she explains: "It's my last awards show as an actor probably, so it's kind of a big deal."

"Right now, I couldn't imagine getting up at 5am and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set," Applegate added. "I don't have that in me at this moment."
For Christina Applegate, acting will no longer be a priority in the future due to her MS diagnosis. She already has her sights set on her next career steps as well.
"I'm doing a s—t ton of voice-overs to make some cash, to make sure that my daughter’s fed and we’re homed," she tells the LA Times...
