Meet Cherish Lee, who's certainly inherited her mother's looks and her father's talent. Her parents, Dallas star Charlene Tilton and country singer Johnny Lee were married from 1982 until 1984 and their daughter Cherish followed both of their footsteps at first. She talked about her early career with Sports & Entertainment Nashville last year:

"I did some acting and I enjoyed it. It's just a very frustrating business. I remember going to auditions and you would get so close. There were a couple of big parts I didn’t get. At least with music, there is that immediate gratification, I guess you'd say."

Cherish Lee: Her brother died from an overdose in 2014

By now, she's established herself as a singer and has a family of her own - she got married to fellow musician Matt Dunn in 2014 and the couple live in Nashville, Tennessee with their son.

While she is the only child of Charlene Tilton, Cherish's father Johnny Lee had a son from his second marriage, Johnny Lee Junior. Although they weren't biological siblings, Cherish and Johnny Jr. were quite close and when he passed from on overdose in 2014, it hit her hard.

"When it happened, it brought me to my knees," she told Sports & Entertainment Nashville. "They had to peel me off the floor. We were about seven-and-a-half years apart [...]. We came to really love each other and I miss him."

And although she and her family had to endure heartache and pain, her outlook on life is still a very positive one: "I love playing for people," she said. "As my dad always says, 'I'll play in an open garage if they'll pay me.' That’s kind of the way I feel about it, too."

We're excited to see what's next for the talented Cherish Lee.
