Actor David McCallum died on September 25th at the age of 90. The TV star gained particular fame for his long-running portrayal of the character "Ducky" in the hit series NCIS.
"Dumbledore" actor Michael Gambon died at the end of September at the age of 82. The cause of death of the 'Harry Potter' star is said to be pneumonia.
Musician Nashawn Breedlove passed away at the age of 46. He was known for his appearance in '8 Mile' as Eminem's battle opponent "Lotto", among other things. Nashawn Breedlove died in his sleep at his home on Sunday, September 24th, according to the report.
Nelson Mandela's granddaughter, writer Zoleka Mandela, died on September 25th at the age of 43. Zoleka was battling cancer and was hospitalized on September 18th for treatment of metastatic disease. Investigations revealed that her disease was far advanced, leading to a pulmonary embolism.
We also had to say goodbye to musician Gary Wright. The sad announcement was confirmed by his son to 'TMZ' at the beginning of September. Wright reportedly suffered from Parkinson's disease and Lewy body dementia. He reached the age of 80.
Actress and author Maddy Anholt died of a rare and aggressive brain tumour on September 13th at the age of only 35. Just one year ago she became a mother to her daughter. Maddy's family announced the sad news of her death from cancer via the platform GoFundMe.
Irish Grinstead, one of the members of the 702 Group, passed away on September 16th at the age of 43. The sad news was announced by her sister and bandmate LeMisha on Instagram. The exact cause of death is not known, but Irish Grinstead had been struggling with health problems for some time, which is why she had to leave the band at times.
