Cardi B is talking about what her marriage to rapper Offset is really like! As People reports, she was candid about the topic in the September issue of ELLE, revealing the truth behind their relationship.
Cardi B explains why she talks about her marriage
Cardi B admitted that discussing her marriage isn't her favourite topic, but she still feels the need to talk about it. "I don't really like talking about love much, but I feel like I have to do it," she explained to ELLE, "just because I want people to know a little bit."
"There's always rumors about me and my husband, and I feel like people would rather start rumors because they want me to be heartbroken," the GRAMMY-winning rapper continued. "They want me to be hurt." However, according to Cardi B, she and Offset have a close bond despite the drama!

Cardi B set the record straight, revealing that her marriage has a solid foundation! "I do know that my relationship has a lot of drama and everything," she shared. "But there's a lot of love, there's a lot of passion, there's a lot of trust, there's a big friendship. It's always us against the world."
Even though she talked a bit about her marriage to Offset in the interview, Cardi B doesn't want to disclose everything. As People shares, she said that if fans are "so curious to know about my relationship," she'll "put it in the f---ing music and you can buy it too," rather than telling the whole story. "I'm not going to give it to you all for free," Cardi B said.

Cardi B's husband Offset talks rebuilding relationship
Cardi B and Offset split for a time in December 2018, after there were rumours that Offset hadn't been faithful to her. "You gotta go through steps and different things so that we can grow," Offset said in February of last year during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.
"Not on the TV though, real behind the scenes, getting to know each other, getting to know who you're with and appreciate them all the way around," he continued. "Because that one mistake made me appreciate her." The couple got married in 2017, and share 2-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari.

Offset mentioned at the time that he and Cardi B were making the effort to rebuild their relationship after what had happened. "We're working through it," he shared. "Gotta work, gotta keep. Don't stop … we're young, man."

Cardi B has already given fans a taste of what to expect from her next album! She released her new single "WAP" with Megan Thee Stallion just last week, along with a music video for the song. "My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad bitch," the rapper told ELLE. "When you make a woman feel like she's the baddest bitch in the room, to me, that's female empowerment."
"But this [next] album is going to be really different," Cardi B explained. "Of course, it's going to have my Lemonade moments, my personal relationship moments. … I don't want to just put out a single and have people buy it because I'm Cardi.
