Thandiwe Newton isn't here for Sean Penn's sexism! On Sunday, the actress reacted to a comment Penn made in an interview about men becoming "feminized," tweeting about just how ridiculous she finds the statement.
Newton says Penn is "just tragic" instead of "sexy"
Newton responded to the interview directly on Twitter, also tagging Penn. This direct response showed that she wasn't afraid to let the actor know what she thought of his words! "Dude what are you SAY-ING?? Like for REAL?" Newton questioned, including several emojis of a laughing face with tears.
And while she called Penn "a jibbering FOOL," it was the actress's next sentence that saw her deliver her most scathing remark towards him. That's because she commented on his lack of physical appeal, which is sure to be a low blow to his ego! "MF you used to be sexy but now you’re just tragic," she wrote.

Newton then brought Penn's family into the discussion, shaming him for his sexist comments while having a daughter! She called 30-year-old Dylan a "poor little mite," and commented on how Penn's wife, actress Robin Wright, is "so dope." As if that wasn't enough, Newton also gave a backhanded compliment to Penn's latest project, requesting he "stop ruining the brilliance of #LicoricePizza with this nonsense."
