The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have now name Tom Brady’s QB successor. Baker Mayfield will take over as Tampa Bay's starting quarterback, Fox News reports. Kyle Trask will back him up. The Buccaneers took to X to make the announcement. And it was the news that many fans expected.

A new era begins

And it seems like a great replacement too! During the team's first preseason game, Mayfield completed "eight of nine passes for 63 yards and a touchdown," Fox News reports. In Week 2 of the preseason, Trask threw for 218 yards and a touchdown.
