Originally from Ontario, Canada, Bryan Adams has been active in the music industry since the mid-1970s. He has built a very successful career as a singer, record producer, guitarist, and songwriter; but he is also a professional photographer, philanthropist and activist.

In 1980 he released his first album, Bryan Adams, in 1981 he released his second one You Want It You Got It, and in 1983 his third one Cuts Like a Knife. But it was in 1983 when he actually came to prominence after releasing Reckless which features two of his most famous songs "Summer of 69" and "Heaven" which was his first number one track.

Bryan Adams' career during the 1990s includes the release of a couple more albums like Waking Up The Neighbours (1991) which includes his worldwide hit "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", which reached number 1 in several countries, including for more than 10 consecutive weeks, and which earned him a Grammy award for Best Song Written For A Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.

Overall Bryan Adams has 15 studio albums, the most recent ones are called Shine a Light, which was released in March 2019 and 'So Happy It Hurts', released in 2022. He was on tour across the United States, South America, and Europe in recent years. Bad news is that in 2019 The New York Times Magazine listed Adams among hundreds of artists whose professional material was reportedly destroyed in the 1008 Universal Studios fire.
