- Britney Spears has a new memoir coming out
- Many explosive revelations are being exposed
- THIS is what she said about cheating on Justin Timberlake
Justin and Britney were together from 1998 to 2002 when they both were rising to fame and together became one of the biggest couples in show business. As revealed in the 2022 documentary 'Framing Britney Spears', Justin leaked that "Britney wasn’t a virgin" following their split, leading to hurtful headlines and reports about her. It took nearly 20 years after their split, and the demands of fans around the world, for Justin to issue a considerable apology to the star.
But speculation that Spears cheated on Timberlake has been swirling since the ‘NSync star released the music video for his song "Cry Me a River" in 2003, one year after the duo parted ways. In the book, the insider says, Spears recalls dancing and making out with dancer Wade Robson, at a Spanish bar while she was dating Timberlake. He was a dancer for both of them at one point.
Oops, she did it again!
Spears shared that she and Timberlake agreed to move past the infidelity given the years that she was loyal to Justin and only had eyes for him. In addition to owning up to a betrayal of her own in 'The Woman in Me', Spears also claimed in the memoir that Timberlake cheated on her with another famous woman. According to TMZ, Spears did not name the individual because she has a family of her own now.
The claims about Timberlake in Spears’ new tell-all don’t stop at infidelity. She also revealed that she became pregnant while dating Justin in the early 2000s. "Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," she wrote in an excerpt according to 'People' magazine.
"I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision," Spears adds. "If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it."
Eventually the relationship ended. Justin initiated their breakup over text message, leaving her "devastated." Meanwhile, the media, she writes, portrayed her as a "harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy" though she was actually "comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood."
Also interesting:
After the breakup, Spears writes that she felt was pressured by her father and her management team into a now infamous interview with Diane Sawyer in 2003. "I think everyone has a side of their story and to make them feel a certain way, to make them feel. I’m not technically saying he’s wrong, but I’m not technically saying he’s right, either," Spears answered when Sawyer said Timberlake implied that she had "betrayed their relationship." In the memoir, she reflects on the interview and its fallout.
"I felt like I had been exploited," she writes, "set up in front of the whole world." For her it was a breaking point. At one point in the interview, she begins to cry and mutters, "Strong, Britney!" to herself. She says she’s embarrassed and asks to stop the interview, her face crumpling. What about Wade Robson though? What is he doing these days?
Robson now has a life coaching and mentorship business, in addition to still working as a choreographer. The Australian got his start as a five-year-old, when he won a dance competition and met Michael Jackson, whom he claimed sexually abused him for years. In 2019, he spoke publicly about it in the documentary 'Leaving Neverland.'
Let's wait and see what other revelations Britney comes up with!
